Desert superbloom is in its usual window at 2 places, from Joshua Tree (Jan 1–Apr 20) to Death Valley (Feb 11–Apr 10). Wildflowers: Point Reyes (Feb 1–Aug 31) and North Cascades (Feb 21–Sep 10). Texas bluebonnets: Big Bend (Feb 1–Mar 31). Starting this month: green-up at Dallas, Texas and green-up at Macon, Georgia. Coming in March: cherry blossoms, from US National Arboretum (Mar 1–Apr 30).
