Does it cost anything to visit?

Where is the visitor center right now?

As of September 2026, the refuge is building a new visitor center and headquarters, and the old visitor center is closed. Visitors are welcomed at a temporary visitor center off River Road, south of Germfask, open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday from May 15 to October 20 (closed federal holidays); from October 21 to May 14 it's by appointment.Source: U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Seney NWR: Visit Us ↗ (opens in a new tab)

Where do I park to bike or drop a trailer before the drive?

As of September 2026, the parking lot at the old visitor center, at the start of the Marshland Wildlife Drive, isn't available during construction. Can any vehicle take the Marshland Wildlife Drive?
